A journal of New York life.

NYC Varietyis a journal of New York life — in-depth stories about the places and people that give this city its character: the new venues worth knowing, the neighborhoods changing block by block, and the restaurants, bars and cultural rooms where New York actually happens.

We write long, we go in person, and we have opinions. Every piece is reported and reviewed by a human editor — written for the curious and the cultured, not for an algorithm.
